The Practice

eBUCIS was founded in 2005 on a simple premise: most technology problems are really problem-definition problems in disguise.

In the years since, the practice has evolved with the technology. We started by building enterprise software and supply-chain tools. We moved into trading platforms and algorithmic strategies. We scaled a fintech venture from early concept to nine-figure valuation. And today we operate at the frontier of generative AI and agentic commerce at the scale of Fortune 50 deployments.

What has remained constant is the approach: understand the problem deeply before choosing the tool. Master a technology before judging it. Build with people who are equally serious about craft. The rest tends to follow.

Today eBUCIS is a boutique advisory. We engage selectively. Our clients tend to be founders raising institutional capital, enterprises architecting AI strategy, and investors evaluating technology-driven businesses. The work is continuous with everything that came before it, and it is the work we are best suited to do.

How we work.

01

Problem first, technology second.

We pay more attention to defining the problem than to reaching for a solution. This saves development cost, aligns expectations, and produces systems that actually solve what they set out to address.

02

Master before you judge.

We invest in learning technologies deeply before forming opinions about them. Not the latest is the greatest. The right tool is the one you understand well enough to know when to use it and when not to.

03

Senior judgment, not staff augmentation.

We are a boutique practice. You engage with the principal. Decisions that shape the outcome of your engagement are made by the person responsible for that outcome.

04

Predictable, not pretentious.

Clear scopes. Transparent progress. Substantive work product. We run engagements with the discipline of a trading desk, not the theatrics of a traditional consultancy.
